EVS Rectangular Types

Envirosound EVS Rectangular Attenuators are available in seven basic models. Each model is available in a choice of seven standard lengths, from 600mm to 2400mm in 300mm increments. Further standard options are available in respect of materials, finishes and connection details.

EVSC Circular Types

Envirosound EVSC Circular Attenuators are available in two basic models, in diameters ranging from 100mm to 1200mm. Standard lengths are approximately one, one and a half and two times the internal diameters. Further standard options are available in respect of materials, finishes and connection details.

Standard minimum material and construction specification for all Envirosound HVAC attenuators, compatible with DW 142 high velocity ductwork systems.

Internals

Splitters constructed from pre-galvanised perforated sheet steel or expanded galvanised 'Perfex' sheet steel. All splitter ends include aerodynamic bull nose leading and trailing edges; 600mm long attenuators include semi radiuses ends.

Acoustic Media

Inert, incombustible, non-hygroscopic, vermin proof glass tissue-faced 45kg/m mineral wool, packed under compression to eliminate voids.

Flanges

As standard all rectangular attenuators include Verro mez flanges. Other types of connections are available including spigots, drilled rolled steel angle flanges, "Ductmate " and "Doby " types.

Optimal Features

'Melinex' wrapped acoustic media. Close weave glass cloth wrapped acoustic media, all internal exposed surfaces painted with chlorinated rubber paint.

Rectangular bend attenuators are available to suit horizontal or vertical changes in duct direction. All bend attenuators have splitters configured parallel to the plane of the bend, all bend attenuators include short chord turning vanes unless stated otherwise.
